인증을 받은 영훈의 커리큘럼

국내 최초 캠브리지 국제교육과정 인증(Cambridge Accreditation)

영훈은 이머전 교육을 위해 ‘캠브리지 국제교육과정’을 채택하고 있으며 국내 초등학교 최초로 캠브리지 국제교육과정 인증을 획득했다.
캠브리지 국제교육과정은 5세~19세 학생들이 전 세계 어디서나 인정받는 학습을 할 수 있는 체계적인 교육과정으로, 1858년 설립된 이래 160개국 1만여 학교에 커뮤니티가 있다.

The Global Perpectives skills
the clobal prorpectives skills에 대한 원형 도식 표. Cambridge Global Perspectives 가 가장 가운데 적혀있고, 맨 바깥쪽엔 cnmpridge international AS & A Level, 다은을 향하는 화살표, cambridge primary, 화살표, cambridge Lower Secondary, 화살표, cambridge IGCSX and CAMBRIDGE O Level, 다시 처음으로 이어지는 화살표가 그려져있다. 그리고 바깥원의 각 섹션에 포함되는 항목들이 중심원과 바깥 원의 사이에 적혀있다. 내용은 다음과 같다. Collaboration(cnmpridge international AS & A Level에 속함), Critical thinking and problem solving(cambridge primary 에 속함),Independent research(cambridge primary 와 cambridge Lower Secondary에 속함.), Communication(cambridge Lower Secondary에 속함.),Reflection(cambridge IGCSX and CAMBRIDGE O Level에 속함), Innovation and creative thinking(cambridge IGCSX and CAMBRIDGE O Level와 cnmpridge international AS & A Level에 속함)

학년별 모듈 단위 테마 학습(Theme Studies)

학년별 8주의 기간(모듈)을 두고 정해진 학습 주제로 영어(English)를 사용하여 학습하고, 모듈 마다 다양한 형태의 테스트를 합니다.
학습의 결과는 학기 당 2회 Report Card를 통해 피드백하고 있습니다.

모듈북 : 원어민 선생님이 캠브리지 교육과정에 따라 직접 학년에 맞는 주제를 선정한 책을 제작하여 사용하고 있습니다.

수업방식(Methods of Instruction)

S.T.E.A.M. 교육(STEAM Design Challenges)

STEAM은 Science(과학), Technology(기술), Engineering(공학), Arts(인문·예술), Mathematics(수학) 의 약자로, 과학기술에 대한 학생의 흥미와 이해를 높이고,
과학기술 기반의 융합적 사고력 (STEAM Literacy)과 실생활 문제 해결 능력을 기르는 교육입니다.
영훈의 영어 교육은 입시 위주의 영어 교육이 아닌 실생활 위주의 원활한 상호작용을 위한 교육입니다.
