Since the deployment of Google Workspace for Education in 2020, Young Hoon International Middle School has improved its teaching and administration across the campus. Starting from 2024, with the distribution of 1:1 Chromebooks to all students, individualized education has become possible. As a result, on February 28, 2024, the school was selected as a Google Reference School, leading education into the future through collaboration with domestic and international Google Reference School partners.

* Google Reference School is a program where Google for Education certifies schools that are using Google Workspace for Education from around the world. Through strict procedures and evaluation, Google Reference Schools achieve innovations in teaching and and drive change in schools worldwide.

Inside the Classroom

Our focus is on Accessibility, Engagement, and Continual Improvement

  • Students embrace technology to enhance their education, based on their individual needs.
  • Students engage with teachers, content, and each other through Google Workspace.
  • Learning starts in the classroom and follows students wherever they need it long after class ends.
Outside of the Classroom

Our focus is on improving our teachers’ ability to collaborate and communicate from anywhere

  • Files are always available through Google Drive, creating easy access points for teachers to communicate and collaborate
  • Big projects can be seamlessly worked on by multiple teachers, asynchronously.
  • Teachers can communicate with students asynchronously, providing guidance when they need help the most
