무르익어 가는 가을의 하늘 만큼이나 높고 맑은 마음의 영훈 아이들이 축제에 찾아왔습니다.
올해는 개교 59주년을 맞이하여, ‘오구오구 귀여워라’라는 이름을 걸고 영훈 가족 여러분과 함께 했습니다.
예년보다 조금 이른 날짜에 축제가 열려, 아직은 조금 덥게 느껴졌지만 그래도 영훈 가족 모두가 하나됨을 느낄 수 있는 즐거운 하루였습니다.
자기의 끼를 마음껏 발휘할 수 있는 소공연, 부모님과 함께하는 즐거운 운동회, 작은 놀이공원이라고 해도 손색이 없을 체험 부스,
멋진 식당을 그대로 옮겨 놓은 듯한 먹거리 부스까지 하나도 놓칠 수 없었습니다.
2024 해피페스티벌의 환영 공연도 정말 멋졌습니다.
건강한 기독교인으로 성장할 수 있는 감동적인 학생 찬양 공연, 입학하고 처음으로 큰 무대에 섰음에도 떨지 않고 공연해 준 1학년 동생들,
이제 졸업을 앞두고 서로를 격려하면서 준비한 6학년 선배들의 환상적인 공연은 정말 잊을 수 없을 것입니다.
특히 공연을 빛내주기 위해 저녁마다 연습하여 아이들에게 보여 준 아버지, 어머니의 공연은 환영 공연의 또 다른 재미였습니다.
이제는 어디에서도 빠지지 않을 웅장함을 겸비한 영훈 오케스트라와 전국적으로 명성을 얻고 있는 영훈 에이레네 합창단의 개막 축하 공연은
감동 그 자체였다고 할 수 있습니다.
‘너희는 세상의 빛이라.’ 라는 건학 이념에 어울리는 영훈인의 모습이었음을 다시 한번 알게 해 준 축제였습니다.
내년에도 우리 모두 건강한 모습으로 다시 만날 수 있기를 기도합니다.
